Industrial Green Cleaning

Did you know industrial cleaning can be green too?

We specially formulated Eco-Blast to not only clean in and outside of homes and be great for power washing but also to work in factories and even food processing facilities.

Eco-Blast is registered with The National Sanitation Foundation Institute (NSF). According to NSF having a product registered with them "Show(s) the food industry they can trust your chemical products. NSF registers and certifies many chemical compounds, from lubricants to cleaning products". Eco-Blast can be used as an all-purpose cleaner and degreaser in and around food processing plants, followed by a potable water rinse. It can also be used where the handling and storage of food occurs. However, Eco-Blast is not intended to use on the food itself.

The standard is to clean before you disinfect surfaces so there isn't anywhere for bacteria to hide. Cleaning also removes some germs and bacteria but doesn't actively kill them as a disinfectant will. Eco-Blast is a great first step in cleaning and degreasing any surface.

The definitions of cleaning sanitizing and disinfecting according to the CDC are:

  • Cleaning with commercial cleaners that contain soap or detergent decreases the number of germs on surfaces and reduces the risk of infection from surfaces in your facility. Cleaning alone removes most types of harmful germs (like viruses, bacteria, parasites, or fungi) from surfaces.
  • Sanitizing reduces the remaining germs on surfaces after cleaning.
  • Disinfecting can kill harmful germs that remain on surfaces after cleaning. By killing germs on a surface after cleaning, disinfecting can further lower the risk of spreading disease.

Eco-Blast is safe to use with sodium hypochlorite also known as bleach. Bleach is a disinfectant that will finish the cleaning and disinfecting process. On disinfecting products you may see a disclaimer that says kill time which refers to how long the product needs to sit on a wet surface to kill germs and bacteria. Always use products according to label instructions and local and federal laws.
